Eat Well Workshop integrates the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education modules into food education. The Eat Well Workshop is designed for participants to learn about food from field to table, as well as recovering food wastes as resources. Through a series of hands-on activities, participant will deepen their understand about our connection with climatic change and how to ‘eat well’ to make a difference.
Highlights of the Eat Well workshop
- Acquire an understanding of how climate change challenges our future food supply
- Enquire the appplication of renewable energy and the concept of äppropriate technique" through a Solar Oven Desing activity
- Cooking together to learn how to reduce our carbon footprint by making good choices (Participants need to bring a container for taking away the snack.)
- Investigating the multi-functions of urban agreculture

** With verification from the school/ organization, the fee for Eat Well Workshop will be waived for participants from low-income families.
