Family Heritage Eco Tour
Although Hong Kong is often described a “concrete jungle,” nearly 80% of its land is covered by vegetation, providing vital habitats and breeding sites for countless wildlife. The northern slope of the Green Hub is one of the city’s most important nesting sites for egrets and herons. With the breeding season just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to embark on a heritage and ecological adventure together!
Guided by our environmental education instructors, this activity will introduce participants to more than 20 types of urban wildlife in Hong Kong, while offering close-up views of the Tai Po Market egretry. Through interactive games and hands-on experiences, children and families will ignite curiosity and creativity, learn the value of living in harmony with nature, and discover the rare ecological beauty hidden within the city. Together, let’s protect our wildlife neighbors and celebrate the wonders of urban biodiversity.
