"Spring Into Green" eco-art project

Green Hub sincerely invites your school to participate in the “Spring into Green” eco-art project. The program aims to engage primary and secondary students in community art, ecological exploration activities, and school-based promotion, inspiring public care for biodiversity.
Green Hub was revitalized from the Old Tai Po Police Station. At its northern foothill lies the Tai Po Market egretry, one of Hong Kong’s most important breeding sites for egrets. Birds play a vital role in maintaining ecological balance, yet their survival faces many challenges under urban development and human activities. Through experiential activities, the Hub enables students to discover the hidden biodiversity within urban habitats, learn about ecological conservation measures adopted during heritage revitalization, and be inspired to explore ways for humans and nature to coexist harmoniously.

Highlights
1. Discovering Egret Neighbors & Exploring eco-conservation tour
The northern slope of Green Hub (the revitalized Old Tai Po Police Station) is home to the Tai Po Market egretry, one of Hong Kong’s most important breeding sites for egrets. Through experiential activities, students will learn about the ecological conservation measures adopted during heritage revitalization, as well as the hidden ecology within the city, inspiring them to appreciate local biodiversity.
2. Egret Paper-mache Workshop
