Gluten-free Vegan Crispy Pandan Oatmeal Cookies and Tofu Yoghurt Cookery Class

Pandan leaf is also known as the 'Vanilla of the East'. Pandan leaf a tropical plant in the Pandanus genus which is known for its distinctive sweet aroma in many South East Asian cuisines. It is also suitable for cultivation in Hong Kong

This cooking class will use organic pandan leaves from the kitchen garden og Green Hub to make gluten-free pandan sesame cookies. Participants will have the opportunity to harvest fresh pandan leaves in the kitchen garden next to Eat Well Canteen. Pandan cookies and tofu yoghurt are vegan and gluten-free, which are especially suitable for those who are allergic to dairy and gluten products. 

During the cookery class, participants will learn the techniques and applications of the cookie dough and the dairy free “yoghurt” to create a healthy and refreshing snack. The class will also share the environmental and health issues posed by the production of dairy products.

Each participant can take 10 pandan sesame cookies and 120g vegan yoghurt home, please bring your own food container for the cookies and airtight jar for the yoghurt.

The class will be taught in Cantonese.

*Outdoor activities will be subjected to the weather conditions.
