Stepping BACK out of Time - a zoom breathwork event with Breath of Bliss™ facilitators Andrew McAulay and Jhon Kwano
Sat, May 15 2021
16:30 - 19:00
This workshop will be conducted online in zoom

You are warmly invited to join Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden’s online public breathwork ceremony on May 15, 2021 (HKT 16:30-19:00), facilitated by Breath of Bliss™ facilitators, Andrew McAulay and Jhon Kwano. In this follow-up workshop to Stepping out of Time, we will deepen our exploration of the relationship between time and the mind, using the breath to bring our awareness into our bodies and the eternal present.

About the facilitators

Andrew McAulay is the fourth generation of his family to be born in Hong Kong and chairs the boards of Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) and Partnerships for Community Development (www.pcd.org.hk). He is passionate about nature, has written two books of poetry and has been teaching meditation since 2004. Andrew graduated from the Breath of Bliss™ Level 2 facilitator training in November 2017 and is now a certified breathwork facilitator.

Jhon Kwano is an elder and “Messenger” from the Dani tribe in the highlands of New Guinea, the largest island in Melanesia and one of the most bio-culturally diverse places on Earth. He is from the last generation to receive traditional initiation and his people still live as their ancestors have for thousands of years, in harmony with nature. Jhon is one of KFBG’s visiting teachers and he graduated from the Breath of Bliss™ Level 2 facilitator training in November 2017.

About Breath of Bliss

Breath of Bliss™ is a breathwork practice that infuses you with aliveness using breath, movement and sound. Unlike other breathing practices, emphasis is placed on liberating oneself and achieving unity with others. This online workshop is for anyone interested, including from outside HK, regardless of the level of their experience with breathwork. For more info on Breath of Bliss™, please visit https://www.breathbliss.com/about

Participants will need a good internet connection and prepare a place where they can sit, lie down and exercise comfortably without being disturbed.  You may also wish to take a shower before the workshop, apply some essential oil, light a candle and/or incense to help prepare a sacred space.

We will check in with each other at the beginning of the workshop with cameras on.  After that, participants may choose to turn their camera off until the conclusion of the workshop, when everyone will be invited to turn it back on again.  The facilitator will record the workshop for evaluation purpose.
