RW042 Summer Night Walk (22 Aug 2020) (CANCELLED)


Led by wildlife experts, the Summer Night Walk introduces participants to the wonders of the nocturnal world at Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden.

Highlights include:

  • An introduction to native nocturnal animals;
  • A visit to the home of some of our rescued nocturnal animals including owls and leopard cats. It’s a great chance to see them when they are most active;

  • Immersion in the chorus of calls of nocturnal wildlife present on our hillside, and chance encounters may include fireflies, frogs and snakes that dwell in and around streams and ponds along the walk. With a bit of luck, you may even catch sight of wild porcupines or hear the call of the barking deer.

(Participants will gather at Tai Wo MTR Station at the starting time. Coach will be arranged to send participants
back to Tai Wo after the programme ends)

Fee: $380 per participant (Includes an organic light meal). Participant can choose to subscribe an additional guesthouse service of the Green Hub*


  1. The Green Hub will adopt the Centre for Health Protection’s latest health advices to adjust group size and grouping arrangement.
  2. Please do take note that sightings of wild animals cannot be guaranteed.

  4. We will process your application and you will be contacted via email shortly. If you do not receive the confirmation letter in 5 days, please call (852) 2996 2838 to the Green Hub.
  5. In the unlikely event of there not being enough participants the event may be canceled. Participants will be informed 2 days before the event. Refund will be arranged.
  6. KFBG (or the Green Hub) is itself covered by Public Liability Insurance. Participants are fully responsible for arranging, at their own expense, such life, health and other forms of insurance coverage as individual considers appropriate.


In the interest of public health, the Green Hub adopts special measures as follows:

  • All visitors will have to undergo body temperature checks upon entry.
  • Upon entry, please use the alcohol hand sanitizer provided by the organizer.
  • Wear your own surgical masks at all times during your visit.
  • Please seek assistance from staff if you feel unwell.
  • Visitors who do not wear a surgical mask, have fever (body temperature >37.5℃) or symptoms of flu will be prohibited from entering the premises.
