Sat, October 14 2017
17:00 - 21:30
Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden

Led by conservationists at Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden, the Summer Night Walk provides participants an orientation about native wildlife in Hong Kong, the etiquette for wildlife watching and an earth-friendly lifestyle to harmonize our relationship with the environment. Highlights include:

-  Enjoy a close encounter with a dog-faced fruit bat;

- Visit owls, barking deer and leopard cats at their respective sanctuaries when they are most active and in a way few visitors get to experience;

- Immerse in the chorus of calls of nocturnal wild animals, and discover frogs and snakes that dwell in and around streams and ponds. With a bit of luck, you might even catch sight of wild civets or hear the call of the barking deer.
