Nature Movement Educator Worshop

Movement education and sensory activities with nature are a vital component of early childhood development, promoting holistic sensory development and creativity, and lay the groundwork for lifelong physical activity and well-being. In this workshop, Moon Little (小月老師) from Moving Playground and Stella Chong of the Green Hub will encompass a range of activities designed to unfold creative movement and facilitate children to form a deeper connection with the environment. Participants will also enjoy imaginative play and storytelling in nature.

The event takes place at the Green Hub, a declared historic monument formerly used as the Old Tai Po Police Station. It was described by the jury of UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage as an oasis in the midst of Hong Kong’s highly urbanised environment. The green surroundings of the Green Hub will provide an immersive experience for children to explore the nature around them.
